Community Bank of Tri-County Employees Participate in Tri-County United Way Day of Caring Events

Waldorf, Maryland, November 5, 2012 - Community Bank of Tri-County is proud to be a partner of the United Way of Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties and support the local community. For the eighth consecutive year, Community Bank employees participated in the annual United Way Day of Caring events, held throughout Southern Maryland.

"Our employees are part of the everyday life in each community we serve," said Michael Middleton, Chief Executive Officer of Community Bank of Tri-County. "Participating in Day of Caring has become a tradition that is highly anticipated by our employees."

The United Way Day of Caring is a community-wide event benefiting non-profit agencies in Southern Maryland. Each year, Day of Caring brings together generous individuals under the common mission of creating positive change in the lives of children, families and seniors in our community.

"Every year, businesses and volunteers come together to help support local non-profits in our area that are in need of assistance," said Hayden Hammett, United Way of St. Mary's County Board Member. "The participation and dedication from so many caring individuals and organizations is truly remarkable."
