Waldorf, Md., March 17, 2009 - For the second year in a row, Community Bank of Tri-County was among the top ten fund raisers in Charles County for the American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days campaign. This year, through active support by its employees, Community Bank raised over $650.
For the past several years, Community Bank employees have actively participated in the annual American Cancer Society Daffodil Days program.This program, in its 36th year, has become one of the most beloved fundraising campaigns. Daffodil Days is the only campaign that occurs simultaneously in local communities throughout the nation, providing an opportunity to raise awareness through the hope delivered by flowers.

The Daffodil Days program raises funds to support the American Cancer Society, the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service.
