Jimmy Burke is CEO & President of Community Bank of the Chesapeake. Mr. Burke is responsible for managing the Bank's resources to achieve strategic and financial goals and objectives, while meeting the expectations of directors, clients, staff, shareholders and regulators. 

Prior to joining Community Bank in 2005, he served as Executive Vice President and Senior Loan Officer at Mercantile Southern Maryland Bank.

Education and Professional Accreditations

Mr. Burke received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from High Point College, High Point, North Carolina. He is a graduate of the Maryland Bankers School and the East Carolina Advanced School of Commercial Lending.

Community Involvement

Mr. Burke is on the board of directors for the ARC of Southern Maryland, and a Trustee for St. Mary's Ryken High School and Historic Sotterley Plantation.

Photo of Todd L. Capitani

Todd Capitani is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Community Bank of the Chesapeake. He is responsible for managing and optimizing the financial actions of the Bank, including its reporting, liquidity and return on investment.

Prior to joining Community Bank in 2009, he served as Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting and as Chief Financial Officer at Ruesch International, Inc. Mr. Capitani has more than 25 years of experience in government contract accounting, controllership, corporate finance, business operations and external audit.

Education and Professional Accreditations

Mr. Capitani is a certified accountant and received his Bachelor of Arts in business economics with a concentration in accounting from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Community Involvement

Todd is involved with several local charities, religious and community organizations.

Christy Lombardi is Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Community Bank of the Chesapeake. She is responsible for administrative and corporate governance matters for the Company, and oversees human resources and shareholder relations.

Mrs. Lombardi joined Community Bank in 1998, and has 20 years of banking experience.

Education and Professional Accreditations

Mrs. Lombardi graduated from the University of Maryland University College with a Bachelor of Science in human resources management. She received her Master's of Management and Master of Business Administration from University of Maryland University College in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Mrs. Lombardi is also a graduate of the Maryland Banking School.

Community Involvement

Mrs. Lombardi serves as immediate past chair of the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, member of the Advisory Board for the Maryland Banker's Association Council of Professional Women in Banking and Finance and member of the College of Southern Maryland Foundation Board. She also serves on the Audit Committee of the Tri-County Council and is a member of the Southern Maryland Workforce Development Board.

John Chappelle is Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer of Community Bank of the Chesapeake. He is responsible for executing initiatives which further the Bank’s progress in the area of digital banking and enhancement of the customer experience as well as continuing to lead the Commercial Services Department.

Mr. Chappelle joined Community Bank in 2007 as a Commercial Services Officer. He has 13 years of experience in the financial industry. 

Education and Professional Accreditations

Mr. Chappelle graduated from Mount St. Mary's University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics. He received his Master of Business Administration from University of Maryland University College. Mr. Chappelle is also a graduate of Maryland Banking School and holds multiple industry certifications related to electronic banking and payments. 

Community Involvement 

Mr. Chappelle serves on the board for Bay Community Support Services and is Chair Elect of the Charles County Chamber of Commerce. 

Photo of Scot Ebron

Scot Ebron is Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer of Community Bank of the Chesapeake, overseeing the Virgina Market. In his role, he will oversee the Virginia lending and Business Development teams, helping drive loan and deposit growth in the Virginia market.

Prior to joining Community Bank, Mr. Ebron has nearly 30 years of banking experience in roles including commercial loan officer, senior lender and market executive. 

Education and Professional Accreditations

Mr. Ebron graduated from University of North Carolina with a bachelor's degree in economics. 

Community Involvement 

Mr. Ebron currently serves on the boards of Sagepoint Foundation, Maryland Veterans Memorial Museum and Gwyneth's Gift Foundation. He also serves on the College of Southern Maryland's Business Advisory Council.

Photo of Lacey Pierce

Lacey Pierce is Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Community Bank of the Chesapeake. She is responsible for corporate administration duties as well as providing oversight and direction to the Lending Administration, Marketing and Facilities departments within the Bank.

Ms. Pierce joined Community Bank in 2007 as a Junior Lender. In 2012 she was promoted to Vice President and Senior Lender for the Calvert County market and then promoted to Senior Vice President in 2015. 

Education and Professional Accreditations

Ms. Pierce has a bachelor's degree from Towson University. She graduated from Maryland Banking School in 2013.

Community Involvement 

Ms. Pierce serves on the boards of The Arc of Southern Maryland and Farming 4 Hunger.

Patrick Pierce is Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of Community Bank of the Chesapeake. In this role, he will oversee the our lending teams and Community Wealth Advisors, helping provide direction to the teams and initiatives.

Mr. Pierce joined the Community Bank team in 2003 as Branch Manager Trainee and transitioned into commercial lending in 2006. In 2013, Patrick became the Senior Lender for the Charles County market. 

Education and Professional Accreditations

Mr. Pierce earned a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Maryland University College. He graduated from Maryland Banking School in 2008. 

Community Involvement 

Mr. Pierce currently serves on the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center's board of directors and is a board member and Treasurer for the La Plata Business Association.

Talal Tay is Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of Community Bank of the Chesapeake. In this role he provides oversight to the compliance department and leadership to the risk, credit, loan review and information security departments. 

Prior to joining Community Bank, Mr. Tay held various positions in the audit and risk areas of the financial services industry, including 2 years of international experience, specializing in audits of financial institution clients and risk management framework methodologies. 

Education and Professional Accreditations

Mr. Tay earned a bachelor's degree in business marketing from Florida State University and accounting studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He has a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist designation.

Thomas serves as Executive Vice President, Senior Credit Officer.  In this role, he is responsible for providing leadership to the Credit Department and oversight of the Bank's loan portfolio.
