Don Parsons serves as Executive Vice President and Senior Loan Officer for our Annapolis and Calvert County Lending Centers with responsibility for the supervision of the commercial lending group, the development of business banking relationships and loan activity in the Greater Annapolis, Anne Arundel and Calvert County service area. He is focused on providing comprehensive banking services and consultation to commercial businesses designed to benefit our client, our community and our Bank.

Don holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Sellinger School of Business at The Loyola College in Maryland. He completed his undergraduate work at Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, West Virginia where he earned a Bachelor’s of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s of Science (BS) degree in Political Science. He is a graduate of the Leadership Maryland Class of 2000.

In keeping with the strong community-oriented mission and commitment of Community Bank, Don is dedicated to improving access to healthcare, education and affordable housing for all citizens of the State of Maryland. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the not-for-profit Blue Cross-Blue Shield insurance companies, CareFirst, Inc. and CareFirst of Maryland, Inc. In addition, for more than two decades he has served the Southern Maryland community as the Chairman of the Board of Calvert Memorial Hospital and Calvert Health System, Chairman of the Board of the College of Southern Maryland Foundation, and as President of the Board and Executive Director of Patuxent Habitat for Humanity. He also served as an Executive Council Board Member for the Maryland Hospital Association.

Don lives in Huntingtown, MD with his wife, Jacquelyn, and their youngest son, Chester. In all, Don and Jackie have been blessed with four children and nine grandchildren.

Ernest is responsible for the supervision and development of the commercial relationships and loan activity for Charles and St. Mary’s County. Prior to joining Community Bank, he was an assistant vice president and commercial and consumer loan officer at First National Bank of St. Mary’s (now PNC Bank). 

Ernie attended the College of Southern Maryland and graduated from Maryland Bankers School. He also trained in the credit department of Mercantile Bank, Baltimore and completed Omega for Commercial Lending to Business Consumer Lending. Additionally, he has completed various courses through the American Institute of Banking and with Robert Morris Associates. 

Ernie is an advisory board member of the College of Southern Maryland, St. Mary’s County and a board member of the St. Mary’s County Chamber of Commerce. He is the past board of trustees’ president at St. Mary’s Nursing Center, Inc., past president of the Leonardtown Lions Club and past president of the Seventh District Rescue Squad Auxiliary. 

Susan Rollins

Susan is responsible for growing commercial loan and deposit business relationships Charles County. Prior to joining the bank, she held several positions at PNC Bank including Consumer Lender, Commercial Lender and Branch Manager. In all, she has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry.

Ms. Rollins has successfully completed the RMA Commercial Lending School program at East Carolina University in 2007. She gives freely of her time, currently serving on the Charles County Freedom Landing Board.

As Commercial and Industrial Loan Officer with Community Bank, Aaron focuses on generating small business lending opportunities while building total banking relationships with the business community. He has over 10 years of experience in banking, client management and commercial credit training.

Aaron graduated from Strayer University with a bachelor’s degree in International Business. Prior to joining the Bank, he worked as a Business Banker for Capital One and Bank of America, responsible for producing new business relationships and annual revenue sales. Aaron dedicates his time in the community as a youth football coach and Founder/Executive Director of Sparrow Development Center.

As a Commercial Loan Officer for Community Bank, Erin is dedicated to providing custom solutions in order to fulfill the lending needs of our commercial customers. She is responsible for growing commercial lending and deposit relationships in the St. Mary’s County market. 

Erin has over 12 years of experience in the Banking Industry.  Prior to joining Community Bank in 2013 as a Commercial Credit Analyst, she served as a Relationship Manager for PNC Merchant Services. She has proven success in her leadership and accounting abilities. Erin is from St. Mary’s County and takes pride in being an active member of the community through her participation in various events and functions. She currently serves on the Board for Health Shares of St. Mary’s. 

Virginia

Tony Farland

Tony is responsible for leading the Fredericksburg, Virginia commercial lending team, which consists of two commercial loan officers, a loan support specialist and a loan portfolio manager.  His position with the Bank includes managing his team and their generation of commercial loans, deposits and other ancillary business.  He has over 18 years of experience in banking and finances and joined Community Bank in 2011. Tony is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association’s School of Bank Management at The University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He completed various courses through the American Bankers Association and the Center for Financial Training. He also completed the Credit Training program through Omega, in Pittsburgh.

Tony is actively involved in Fredericksburg and surrounding communities, to include Stafford, Spotsylvania and King George Counties, where he volunteers for organizations such as the Rappahannock United Way and Rappahannock Area YMCA.  He is a Board Member for the King George Branch of the Rappahannock Area YMCA as well as the annual campaign chair. Tony is also on the Board of Directors of the Fredericksburg Country Club and serves on their finance committee.

David has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry and currently serves the commercial lending needs for clients throughout the Fredericksburg market. 

He attended Germanna Community College and completed the RMA Commercial Lending School program at East Carolina University. He is an accredited Asset Management Specialist through the Institute of Wealth Management and has attended numerous workshops on commercial banking through the Virginia Bankers Association. David frequently gives of his time to support community organizations. He has served on the board of directors for the Rappahannock United Way and the Rappahannock Area YMCA and was treasurer of the Stafford Ruritan Club.

Benjamin (Ben) T. Hall, native of Fredericksburg, VA, is Senior Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer for Community Bank of the Chesapeake. Ben joined Community Bank in June 2013. In his position, he is responsible for growing commercial relationships and loan activity within the Fredericksburg market. Ben& received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Bridgewater College and has over 15 years of lending experience. Before joining Community Bank, he served as Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer at Virginia Community Bank. Currently, Ben is attending the Virginia Banker's Association School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia, with a graduation date set for 2019.

Ben is actively involved in the Fredericksburg community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Fredericksburg Country Club and Central VA Housing Coalition. Ben serves on the finance committee of both organizations. He is also involved with the Fredericksburg Dominion Club and has active involvement in various Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce functions.
