Tony Farland

Tony is responsible for leading the Fredericksburg, Virginia commercial lending team, which consists of two commercial loan officers, a loan support specialist and a loan portfolio manager.  His position with the Bank includes managing his team and their generation of commercial loans, deposits and other ancillary business.  He has over 18 years of experience in banking and finances and joined Community Bank in 2011. Tony is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association’s School of Bank Management at The University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He completed various courses through the American Bankers Association and the Center for Financial Training. He also completed the Credit Training program through Omega, in Pittsburgh.

Tony is actively involved in Fredericksburg and surrounding communities, to include Stafford, Spotsylvania and King George Counties, where he volunteers for organizations such as the Rappahannock United Way and Rappahannock Area YMCA.  He is a Board Member for the King George Branch of the Rappahannock Area YMCA as well as the annual campaign chair. Tony is also on the Board of Directors of the Fredericksburg Country Club and serves on their finance committee.

David Belman

David has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry and currently serves the commercial lending needs for clients throughout the Fredericksburg market. 

He attended Germanna Community College and completed the RMA Commercial Lending School program at East Carolina University. He is an accredited Asset Management Specialist through the Institute of Wealth Management and has attended numerous workshops on commercial banking through the Virginia Bankers Association. David frequently gives of his time to support community organizations. He has served on the board of directors for the Rappahannock United Way and the Rappahannock Area YMCA and was treasurer of the Stafford Ruritan Club. 

Ben Hall

Benjamin (Ben) T. Hall, native of Fredericksburg, VA, is Senior Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer for Community Bank of the Chesapeake. Ben joined Community Bank in June 2013. In his position, he is responsible for growing commercial relationships and loan activity within the Fredericksburg market. Ben& received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Bridgewater College and has over 15 years of lending experience. Before joining Community Bank, he served as Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer at Virginia Community Bank. Currently, Ben is attending the Virginia Banker's Association School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia, with a graduation date set for 2019.

Ben is actively involved in the Fredericksburg community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Fredericksburg Country Club and Central VA Housing Coalition. Ben serves on the finance committee of both organizations. He is also involved with the Fredericksburg Dominion Club and has active involvement in various Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce functions.

Samuel Kessler

Sam serves as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer for Orange, VA and the surrounding markets. In this role, he will focus on generating business lending opportunities while building banking relationships. Prior to joining Community Bank, Sam served for 13 years as Commercial Loan Officer at Blue Ridge Bank. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Shepherd University and is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association Banking School.

Sam is an active member in his community. He is Past President and current Chairperson of Orange Christmas Parade Committee of the Rotary Club of Orange and the Past President and current Treasurer of the Orange Chamber of Commerce. He is a past board member of Germanna Community College, College Board.
