As the impact of the pandemic continues to spread, many local businesses are struggling. As your community bank, we want to help in any way we can. One of the ways we are doing so is initiating Digital Cash Mobs for local restaurants to help support local.

The Community Cash Mob is a group of employees spending money together at local businesses and encouraging the community to shop along with them.
To support and bring awareness to local businesses, through the idea of shopping local and reinvesting in your community. Local businesses are the heart of every community. Our business owners take great risks to follow their passions and give their best to the community. We want to say thank you by supporting their business and encouraging the public to join us. It is a fun way to give back and get to know our neighbors.
Community Bank will host a Cash Mob at least twice a month at different local businesses, one in Southern Maryland and one in Fredericksburg.
Community Bank will select businesses in our communities. We will choose two different businesses each month throughout the community (i.e. a coffee shop, children's store, arts related, food industry, etc.). If you'd like Community Bank to consider mobbing your business, please reach out to the Marketing department at email@example.com.
An organized group of bank employees will "mob" a local business during a set day and time. During this time, they will spend an allotted amount of funds, donated by the bank, at the chosen business. They welcome community members to join them in the mob, with 50 customers receiving money* towards their purchase that day.

*The first 25 customers visiting the selected business during the community cash mob will receive $10 towards their purchase. The money will be given as a $10 voucher/discount code to the selected business and must be used during Community Bank’s Cash Mob. You are not required to purchase goods or services, pay any money or subscribe to any promotion.
