2015 Antique Automobile Show

Join the Historic Fredericksburg Region AACA for their annual car show on Saturday, June 6 in the heart of Downtown Fredericksburg! Over 150 classic cars will line Caroline and Hanover Street displaying the automobiles of the 1890s through 1990. In addition to the expansive collection of antique cars displayed, the event will also include a "Take-apart Model-T" display, vintage clothing fashion show, and dance demonstrations by Strictly Ballroom Dance Studio. Cars will be shown on the 600, 700, 800, and 900 blocks of Caroline Street and the 100 and 200 blocks of Hanover Street. Admission for the event is free.

Rock the River FXBG 2015

Rock the River FXBG combines activities from various communities who benefit from, are inspired by, and enjoy their time on the Rappahannock River. There is adventure with a multi-sport river and foot race, outdoor activities for adults, children, and their furry friends, a display of unique arts and crafts, as well as the enjoyment of great craft beers, tasty food, and live music throughout the day. It is free for workshops and $30 for a beer sampling package.

Fall into Wellness Annual Health Fair

The Department of Aging & Human Services annual Health Fair: The Way to Wellness will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You will have an opportunity to participate in more than seven health related screenings. There will be information and resources addressing a variety of health-related topics including Alzheimer's disease, nutrition, medical equipment, diabetes information, physical therapy services, counseling, library cards, chiropractic services, fitness, and resources in the community for all populations, mental health, substance abuse, and treatment. The St. Mary's County Sheriffs Office will be collecting prescription medications and flu shots will be offered. A commercial shredder truck will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No pre-registration is required and admission is free.
