The Community Financial Corporation, the holding company of Community Bank of the Chesapeake, and Shore Bancshares, Inc., the holding company of Shore United Bank, are combining companies in a merger of equals. We are excited to announce that we received the required regulatory approvals. The completion of the merger remains subject to shareholder approval from both companies and the satisfaction of other closing conditions. How secure are your social networks? In large measure, it’s up to you!

Be aware of — and keep current with — the privacy policies of the sites you use. Did you read the policy and terms of service before you signed up? Do you know what you agreed to? Even if you read everything carefully (and most people don’t!), remember that policies can change after you create your account. Check back on occasion.
